Our Instructors

Northfield has been my home since high school.  After spending my college years in Iowa and Germany, I began to put down roots in Northfield once again.

It's a true gift to return to my hometown and share my energy with my community.  Teaching for me is the opportunity to share peace and joy through mindful movement and a smile.  Practising asana, pranayama, and meditation together is healing for our bodies and souls!  Class is a time to come together and celebrate our Oneness!

I love to play guitar, dance, sing, garden, paint, laugh, be in nature, and have fun :)

I'm a physical therapist, yoga teacher, and mom to two teenagers.

My favorite things to do are camping and adventuring with my husband, kids and our little dog Peeky. I've always loved strength training in any form and have recently been focusing on its impact on bone and muscle integrity and prevention of osteoporosis.

Certifications include a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and Reiki 1 from Sun Moon Studio in Mankato, and extra training in Pilates, Movement Systems, Prenatal and Pelvic Health, Myofascial Release, Nutrition for Bone Health and Strength for Women.
